Career diplomat and civil servant, since August 2021 Joanna serves as Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of Poland to the UN.
Between 2014 and 2018 she has served as the Consul General of Poland in Guangzhou, China.
From May 2012 to November 2013 she was the Director of Public and Cultural Diplomacy Department at the Polish MFA. Since 2002 Joanna dealt with the European Union policy, i.a. coordinating the first Polish Presidency in the Council of the EU of 2011.
Besides her diplomatic duties Joanna regularly gives lectures at Polish and foreign universities and training institutions. She has also served as expert in assistance programmes for public service development in Ukraine, Serbia and Montenegro, Georgia, Moldova.
Graduate of Jagiellonian University in Cracow and National School of Public Administration, Warsaw.
